Countryside Heating & Cooling Solutions is firmly supporting small businesses in its community through a Shop Local campaign, a 50% off special offer for essential workers and zero interest financing plans. Its Nominate a Hero initiative pays tribute to community members noteworthy for their courage, with winners receiving a home comfort package.

Next week, it plans to launch a virtual appointments platform, cutting back on personal contacts for greater peace of mind among its customers and employees. This Virtual Sales and Service Center is seamlessly aligned with its COVID-19 protection scheme, now dispatching technicians from their homes rather than its office, in order to minimise personal contact. Perhaps more importantly, HVAC inspections now take place virtually.

Homeowners are called before visits to make sure no one is sick in the home, and employees are monitored constantly for coronavirus symptoms. Following CDC recommendations, technicians wear booties, gloves, and masks, if available; handshakes are replaced by friendly waves, keeping six feet away from family members at all times. Trucks and other contact areas are wiped down with disinfectant, and paper invoices are replaced by emails, for the least possible exposure.
