Bill Hair, President and co-owner of My Computer Guy. I graduated from J.J. Pierce in Richardson, Texas and joined the Marines serving as a Corporal from 1985-1989. I met my wife in 1992 and got married to Sheila O. Hair in 1994. We started My Computer Guy in 1996 as a way to pay for my technical training and to help friends and family. In 2004, I completed my Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer training and became a Dell Certified Partner, Microsoft Certified Partner and CompTIA member.
In 2004, My Computer Guy was incorporated and we started running the business full time in Rockwall, Texas. We joined the chamber in 2004 and I became a Rockwall Chamber Board Member in 2007. In 2006 and 2010, My Computer Guy won the Rockwall Chamber Small Business Partner of the Year Award.
I am a member of the noon Rotary Club and attend church at LakePointe. I have served in the Children’s ministry as a Sunday school instructor since 2002. In addition, I support the RISD by providing math tutoring to classrooms and serve as Watch Dog at Reinhardt Elementary.
My Computer Guy supports Rockwall and Heath High School Sports teams and fundraisers for the Boys and Girls Club of Rockwall County, Helping Hands, City of Fate, Soroptimist, Women’s League, Local Chambers, Kiwani’s and Rotary events and nonprofit programs. We believe in giving back to the community and putting “Others before Self”.
